The 8-Way RDM Enabled DMX Splitter is DMX/RDM compatible, with the RDM function being able to be enabled or disabled via a dial switch.
It is RDM enabled and ANSI E1.20 compliant, extending both cable distance (up to 300m) and the number of devices (up to 32 devices per output, with a total of 256 devices). The unit features a plug-and-play design with an RJ45 port DMX input and eight RJ45 port DMX outputs. While the 8 outputs are fully isolated from the input, they are not isolated from each other. Each output provides LED data indicators for full confirmation of proper operation and supports bi-directional communications for discovery, addressing, and DMX control of RDM-enabled devices. A feed-through RJ45 port at the input allows this unit to be placed in the middle of an existing DMX chain.
