The 8-Way RDM Enabled DMX Splitter is a DMX/RDM compatible device that is RDM enabled and ANSI E1.20 compliant. It extends both cable distance (up to 300m) and the number of devices (up to 32 devices per output, for a total of 256 devices). This plug-and-play splitter features a 3/5-pin XLR male DMX input and eight XLR female DMX outputs, with each output fully isolated from the input, though outputs are not isolated from each other. Each output includes LED data indicators for confirming proper operation, and it supports bi-directional communications for discovery, addressing, and DMX control of RDM-enabled devices. A feed-through XLR female connector is provided at the input, allowing the unit to be placed in the middle of an existing DMX chain.
